Hustlers

Well this movie was...disappointing as Shit. After all the talk I heard about this being a female Goodfellas I was let down. It just feels like it never takes off or catches fire, similar to a stove where you hear the gas click but not the flame ignite. Maybe part of it was my ignorance on what actually happened, but I felt like the whole thing was just uninvolving as Shit. There was some humor that worked and I did think the cast had chemistry but no one immensely stood out (although I will say JLO's Criminal dance is award worthy albeit not Oscar worthy). In the end though, I'mma hustled baby

When I feel those feelings

Always looking at them even when they are looking way

Being there for them even when they don't know it

Caring so much that it makes you weak

Doing everything when they do nothing

Eventually being shut out when you're ready to let them in

Fighting these feelings even when it's a losing battle

Giving all you can to someone that takes all that they can

Holding onto hope even when you watch it disintegrate

Internally com busting while trying to hold it all together externally

Jumping out of the comfort zone and hitting a brick wall

Keeping a hold of positive even when you are positively negative

Letting go of that dream as it just turned into your nightmare

Making sense of a situation when it's a situation due to a lack of sense

Offering your insides to someone that yanks them outside

Played by someone whose life is a game

Queening someone who is no more than a Joike

Ready to move on when your heart is standing still

Saying "I'll find someone" when you don't want to look for them

Trying to keep your head held high even when everything is pulling it down

Understanding that what you want might not want you back

Victory is felt but for them having the power you just took back for yourself

Walking away in a stand still situation

Xraying what you felt inside even when the images came back blurry

Yes is what I want to say but No decides to leap in front

Zebra is my spirit animal because I wear these polar opposites at once

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

A big ol scarecrow of a movie; slightly creepy but overall too flimsy and overstuffed to not fall apart.

The characters face trauma for 12 hours but YOU are the one whose endurance feels tested by the end.

Pet Sematary

Competent, but lifeless, as if the script was buried and never resurrected before it hit the screen

The Prodigy

Only feels like a prodigy in the form of unoriginality, as the whole thing feels Frankensteined together from pieces of much better movies.

Suspiria

You can have the beauty and gusto of a dancer but struggle if your structure is too flabby, "It's all a mess"

Escape Room

Starts off with promise, but by the end it shoots for Cube and ends up at square
